June 7: Picture of the Day
Somehow the thought of taking another tornado picture didn’t seem appealing today. Somehow birds seemed much more appealing as a subject.
Appealing, but not cooperative.
The indigo bunting stayed too far away. The trio of goldfinches kept flitting away down the road, just as I got ready to click. And the oriole emerged, then disappeared as quickly.
Bird photography on the fly is not easy.
Thank goodness for chaps like this one, who stayed perch a few feet away for nearly 10 seconds.
