Turkey harvest reporting problems fixed

May 03, 2011 at 07:52 AM

From Paul Brewer, Illinois Department of Natural Resources wild turkey program manger:

“Harvest Reporting System problems resulted in Illinois wild turkey hunters being unable to report their harvest by phone on part of the day on Sunday, May 1, 2011 and Monday, May 2, 2011,” Brewer says.

“The Illinois DNR asks anyone who was unable to report their wild turkey harvest by phone or by internet on May 1 or May 2 to please try again, as the harvest information is important to IDNR wildlife managers.

“The problem was resolved at around 9 a.m. on Monday, May 2.”
