Conservation police are still seeking information in regards to the killings of at least eight deer in Dewitt County.

Earlier this month at Clinton Lake, police discovered several white-tailed deer that were rundown by a vehicle. Officer Ray Wichus told WAND-TV he had never seen such a disturbing scene in his 22 years.

Police have received several tips that all seem to point to one group. They also think they know the vehicle that was used. Further details are not being released as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Dewitt County CrimeStoppers at (217) 935-3333.
