Randy Cooke of the Sangchris Waterfowlers Association sent along a series of photographs of last weekend’s youth hunt.

Twelve young hunters killed 15 ducks and two Canada geese, according to Sangchris Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area site superintendent Randy Hawkins.

The regular waterfowl hunting season opens Saturday in the central zone.

Special thanks to Randy Cooke for gathering and sharing photos from the youth hunt. It looks like the kids had a great time.
