RESULTS
Bass tournaments
-- Brett Brown and Kenny Gregory won the Fellowship of Christian Anglers tournament Oct. 5 at Lake Springfield with nine fish weighing 11.21 pounds. Bob Hartman Jr. and Ray Moushon placed second (5, 9.1) and Dean Mahurin and Bill Wright third (4. 5.75). Moushon won big bass (3.07).
-- Dean Mahurin and Bob Klobnack won the Fellowship of Christian Anglers tournament Sept. 21 at Canton Lake with four fish weighing 9.16 pounds. Brett Brown and Bill Wright placed second (4, 7.33) and Dave Ekema and Kenny Gregory third (3. 6.16). Mahurin won big bass (5.00 pounds).

Skeet shooting
-- Peoria Skeet and Trap Club members placed in the Mini World and World Shoot held from Sept. 27 through Oct. 4 at San Antonio:
Mini World — Ed Dean: Doubles AA-4 and Senior champ (99x100), 12 gauge Senior 1 10th place (99x100), 28 gauge AA-8 and Senior first (100x100). Becky McCumber: Doubles Lady 1 first (94x100), 12 gauge Lady 1 second (99x100), 28 gauge Lady 1 first (99x100), 20 gauge Lady runner-up (100x100), 410 AAA ninth and Lady champ, High Overall Lady champ and AAA sixth (398x400). Bud Shipp: 12 gauge A eighth and Senior 2 third (100x100). Nick Geibel: 12 gauge B ninth and Veteran 1 second. Dave McMillen: 28 gauge AA seventh, Senior third (100x100); 20 gauge AAA fourth, Senior third (100x100). John Fennell: 28 gauge D 10th.
