Bass tournament

May 11 — Glasford American Legion Post 35 Seventh Annual Bass Tournament at Banner Marsh (East, Main and Shovel lakes), 6 a.m. to noon. Tournament was originally scheduled for May 4, but was pushed back one week because of high water levels. Entry $50 per boat. Check-in 5-5:30 a.m. at East entrance. (309) 686-3949.

RESULTS

Bass tournament

John Southey of Bartonville won the Illinois Central Bass Club tournament April 25 at Lake Sangchris with three fish weighing 10.54 pounds. Frank Campbell of Brimfield placed second (3, 9.88) and Sheldon Bevard of Pekin third (3, 8.10). Southey won big bass (4.40).
