RESULTS

Bass tournaments

Frank Campbell of Brimfield won the Illinois Central Bass Club tournament May 16 at Lake Jacksonville with four fish weighing 12.06 pounds. Duane Wolland of Congerville placed second (4, 10.10) and John Southey of Bartonville third (2, 4.18). Campbell won big bass (4.98).

Robin St. Clair of Manito won the Illini Lunker Hunters Bass Club tournament May 18 at Prairie Lake with three fish weighing 9.66 pounds. Gary Stevenson of Peoria placed second (3, 8.80) and Brandon Brown of Washington third (3, 8.38. Mike Melton of Trivoli won big bass (4.82).

Skeet shoot

Local shooters who placed in the Three-I Skeet Shoot held May 17-19 at Peoria Skeet and Trap Club were led by Becky McCumber, who won all Lady championships: DBS, 12, 20, 28, 410+. She was AA-2, Sub Senior runner-up, High Overall and High All Around.

DBS: Dave McMillen A-4, Senior third place and Kent Koshkarian B-3, Sub Senior third place.

20 gauge: Bud Shipp runner-up and senior champion and Steve Schmidgall D-1.

28 gauge: John Fennell D-2.

High overall: Shipp A-4.

High All Around: Fennell D-1.
