Bass tournament

Eric Doubet and Frank Parod won the Glasford American Legion Post 35 Seventh Annual

Bass Tournament on May 11 at Banner Marsh with fish weighing 9 pounds, 6 ounces. Bill Hurst and Kenny Wollard placed second (8.94) and Burt Parod and Eric Mark third (7.2). Big bass was won by Doubet and Parod (5.48).

Trap shoot

Peoria Skeet and Trap Club held a registered trap shoot May 5. Winners included:

Doubles — Class A: Dave Dressler (95x100. B: Larry Murphy (97x100). C: William Murphy (92x100). D: Glenn Cross (92x100).
