Aug. 22 — Tazewell County Farm Bureau Sporting Clay Shoot for Agricultural Scholarship at Oak Ridge Sportsman’s Club in Mackinaw, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Open to anyone. Cost of $65 includes 100 targets and lunch. Same-day registration accepted but pre-registration preferred by calling (309) 347-3165.

Aug. 25 — Peoria Skeet and Trap Club hosts annual Dove and Teal Hunter Tune-up. Doors open 10 a.m., shooting 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds to Greater Peoria Honor Flight. RESULTS

Bass tournament

P.J. Knot and Dan Lee of Washington won The Other Club tournament Aug. 10 at Jim Edgar Site M Lake with three fish weighing 9.60 pounds. Jim Franklin and Bobby Harris of Washington placed second (3, 8.65) and Rick Manz of Pekin and Dean Marhurin of Hanna City third (2, 6.20). Franklin won big bass (4.60).
