Outdoor Hall of Fame inductions

RESULTS
Bass tournaments

Frank Campbell of Brimfield won the Illinois Central Bass Club tournament Aug. 16 at Banner Marsh with three fish weighing 5.04 pounds. Ken Wolland of Bartonville placed second (3, 4.80) and Mike Cranford of Bartonville third (2, 4.46). Campbell won big bass (3.96).

Gary Stevenson of Peoria won the Illini Lunker Hunters Bass Club tournament Aug. 18 at Otter Lake with one fish weighing 5.83 pounds. He won big bass. Loran Hoffman of Washington placed second (3, 5.18) and Bert Parod of Washington third (1, 3.34).

Trap shoot

Peoria Skeet and Trap Club members competed in the Grand American Trap Shoot, which ran Aug. 8-18. Preliminary week results — Precision fit stock singles: Lary Lark, Veteran third place (100); Trapshooting USA Handicap: Mike Dennis, overall sixth place (98); Budweiser Handicap: Dave Dressler, Sub Veteran winner (97); National Team Race: Dressler, Sub Veteran third place; National Team Race: Lark, Veteran first place; Krieghoff Handicap: Tim Turpin, 21-22 yards first place (95).

Grand week results — Winchester AA Class Singles: Hannah Martin, Sub Jr. Class D (183) and Connie Martin, Lady 1 Class D third place (178); President Jeff Wagner, Handicap:  Denise Stultz, Lady 2 runnerup (94); Beretta Singles Championship: Lark, Veteran third (200); Crow Shooting Supply Handicap:  Lark, Veteran runnerup (99); Kolar Handicap: Stultz, Lady 2 winner (92); Remington Grand American Handicap: Larry Murphy, 25-26 yards fifth (96); EZ-Go All Around: Murphy, Class B winner (387).
