Nick and Jarvis Goodall win Lake Springfield catfish tournament

Nick and Jarvis Goodall took first place in the Aug. 18 installment of the Lake Springfield Open Buddy Catfish Tournament Series with six fish weighing 45.7 pounds.
They also weighed the big fish of the night with a flathead catfish weighing 31.6 pounds.
The tournament drew 42 boats.
Second place went to Pete and Lou Ochs with six channel catfish weighing 40.5 pounds.
Mike Dougin and Zack Zimmerman were third with six channel catfish weighing 33.6 pounds.
The next tournament will be held Sept. 15.
Signup starts at 2 p.m. at the Beach House across from the Lindsay Bridge Boat Ramp.
Tournament hours are 3 - 11 p.m.
The cost is $60 per boat with an optional $10 for the big fish pot.
