Montana officials investigate illegal shooting of 19 deer

KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) — State wildlife officials investigating the illegal shooting of at least 19 deer in the Whitefish area over the past two years are offering a $4,450 reward for information leading to those involved.
Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials say most of the deer were shot at night on back roads in the Whitefish area and left to rot. Some of the antlers were taken.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FWP hotline at 1-800-TIP-MONT or Flathead Crimestoppers at 406-752-8477.
