The State Journal-Register

Bass tournament trails wrapped up the season with year-end classics in October.

But even as the season winds down, there’s still at least one more tournament on the schedule for November.

Kelly Stufflebeam and Brian Denk won the 2011 Lake Springfield Summer Trail Classic with a catch weighing 13.67 pounds.

Second place went to Joe DiGiovanna and Pat Cravens with 11.37 pounds. The third-place team of Russ Angel and Randy Bruns brought 9.20 pounds to the scales.

Stufflebeam and Denk won the big bass contest with a fish weighing 4.62 pounds.

Lake Springfield Thursday Night Classic

Darold Maker and Greg Cooper took first place with 13.34 pounds.

Second place went to Rusty Armour and Sean Ricker with 12.33 pounds. Third place went to Steve Parker and Herb Rush with 12.02 pounds.

Big bass went to Ricker and Armour with a bass weighing 4.96 pounds.

But wait, that’s not all
