Illinois Fish & Feather Expo coming to Bloomington Jan. 27 - 28

Prairie State Outdoors

The Illinois Fish & Feather Expo will return to the Interstate Center in Bloomington on Jan. 27-29.

Daily seminars will be offered.

Lake Shelbyville guide Steve Welch will be the feature speaker, talking about crappie fishing each day.

Special attractions are: Question and Answers with the Pro’s on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., and relic hunter Lyle Merritt, a collector of more than 5,200 arrowheads from McLean County.

Door prizes will be given away every two hours.

Grand prize is a five-day trip for two to Eagle Falls Lodge in Northwest Ontario, Canada valued at about $1500.

Kids can enter a casting contest for a chance to win many prizes and try their hand at bow fishing.

Show hours are:

Friday, Jan. 28:
noon to 7 p.m.

Saturday
9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission: 
Adults $7  
Kids Ages 6 to 12 $3.00  
Kids 5 and under free.
Parking is free.
