Foiles seeks dismissal of charges; trial put off until summer

Jeffrey Foiles, Pike County waterfowl hunting guide and star of the Fallin’ Skies video series, probably won’t stand trial on federal wildlife charges until late July.

Foiles appeared before U.S. Magistrate Byron Cudmore Wednesday afternoon for a pre-trail conference.

His case was continued with another conference scheduled for June 23.

The tentative trail date before U.S. District Judge Richard Mills is set for July 5, with the actual date likely to be towards the end of July.

Foiles faces a 23-count indictment in the United States and 11 counts in Canada for allegedly killing ducks and geese in excess of limits and falsifying records.

Foiles’ attorneys filed a motion to dismiss the indictment, and prosecutors have until Friday to respond.

He’s guilty. Have you ever watched his videos? Sickening. I used to enjoy watching his videos until the last one I bought. You could tell he was shooting the ducks not his clients. And when he runs who knows how many clients through the blind in one day but he stays all day, it is apalling.
