
Celebrate butterflies and the perfect walleye sandwich on the same wekend

A “Butterfly Frenzy” and Walleye Festival will be held on the same weekend in the Lake Shelbyville area.
Eagle Creek State Park at Lake Shelbyville is sponsoring a “Butterfly Frenzy” event to highlight the park’s Butterfly Barn.
Hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. July 28.
There will be music, games, educational sessions, and guest speakers.
Additional activities catching and releasing butterflies, and sidewalk chalk butterfly drawing.

At the same time, the town of Findlay will be hosting its annual Walleye Festival.
Activities include live music, a car/truck/motorcycle show, a kiddie tractor pull, Three-on-three basketball tournaments, and walleye sandwiches.
The festival opens July 27 at 4 p.m. and continues through the evening of July 29.
