Catfish anglers brave cold and rain to compete in Ol’ Joe’s tournament at Clinton Lake

Prairie State Outdoors

A dozen boats braved cold and rainy conditions during the most recent installment of Ol’ Joes Clinton Lake catfish tournament April 28.

First place, with six fish weighing 32.4 pounds, went to Bob and Jon Brewer of Clinton.

Second place went to Clint Paradee and Dave Sample of Decatur with 28.2 pounds.

Bryan Espy of Maroa was third with 22.5 pounds.

Paradee won big fish honors with a catfish weighing 12.2 pounds.

The next tournament is May 26 from 5 -11 p.m.
