A son’s first smallie

April 07, 2008 at 12:40 PM

On a day when many fathers are bragging about their son’s first wild turkey, our diehard smallmouth bass blogger Jonn “Stream Stalker” Graham is grinning proudly for another reason.

Fishing with his son Jack, 4 1/2, last Saturday, Graham watched as his young son caught his first smallmouth bass on his own. To top if off, the youngster caught that fish near the same spot where his father caught his first smallie years ago.

Click here to read all about that trip and many more like it every week in Graham’s Stream Stalker Blog, only here on Prairie State Outdoors.com. To make sure you don’t miss an entry, bookmark Graham’s blog and check back often. As spring rains cease, he’ll no doubt have more regular entries and pictures.
