Todd Goin of Germantown Hills caught and released this 31-inch striper on a 10-pound test fluorocarbon line and crankbait while bass fishing in Otto Lake. Fisheries biologist Dan Stephenson’s best guess is that it is a hybrid, based on the fact it was caught at Otto Lake. Stephenson estimates that, based upon a length to weight regression, the average weight for a 31-inch hybrid striper is 17.63 pounds.
