Walnut Point worth a visit

The 59-acre lake at Walnut Point State Park is worth a visit says outdoor writer Dave Shadow, who recently visited the park located 20 miles northeast of Charleston.
Writes Shadow:
The lake is 59 acres but seems larger due to the fingers and coves.
AND
In short, if you’re looking for a fun place to fish, visit, camp or picnic, I’d highly recommend this facility.
