IRAP youth spring turkey hunting:
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is offering additional youth hunting opportunities on private property this spring through the Illinois Recreational Access Program.
More than 6,000 acres on private property in at least 17 counties are available for kids under the age of 16 for the spring youth wild turkey season and seasons 3 and 4.
Hunters will need to choose the county in which they wish to hunt and a random drawing may be held for each county/site.
