Rayjus Outdoors - Oak Lawn High School Bass Tournament set for Oct. 13

The fishing team at Oak Lawn Community High School has teamed up with Rayjus Outdoors to host the third annual Rayjus Outdoors - Oak Lawn High School Bass Tournament Oct. 13 at the DesPlaines Conservation Area near Wilmington.
“Last year we had over 130 kids take part and 42 boats registered,” said team sponsor Chris Kuchyt.“Hopefully this year’s event will have even more kids experiencing the thrill of a high school bass tournament.”
Schools may enter an unlimited number of boats until the Illinois Department of Natural Resources permit quota is reached.
The cost is $40 per boat.
The Des Plaines Conservation Area can be accessed from Interstate 55.
Take the Wilmington Exit (241).
Check-in is at 6:30 a.m.
Tournament hours are 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.
