Pete and Lou Ochs win latest Lake Springfield catfish tournament

Prairie State Outdoors

Pete and Lou Ochs won the most recent installment of the Lake Springfield Open Buddy Catfish Tournament Series with a catch weighing 30.36 pounds.

Second place went to John Fifer and Aaron Taylor with 28.34 pounds.

Gary Nation and Jake Lorscheider were third with 27.16 pounds.

Fifer and Taylor weighed the big fish of the tournament – a 9.26-pound channel.

No blue catfish were caught this time.

The next tournament will be held starting at 6 p.m. Sept. 17.

Participants must sign-up at the Lindsay Bridge Boat Ramp by 5:15 p.m.
