RESULTS
Bass tournaments
Ray Richmond and Tom Dietrich won Presley’s Outdoors tournament May 7 at Banner Marsh with a total catch of 4 pounds, 7 ounces. Darren Birckel and Kelly Presley were second (3.55) and Jim Babcock and Mitchell Jacobs third (3.09). Richmond/Dietrich had big bass (4.07).
Frank Campbell of Brimfield won the Illinois Central Bass Club tournament Thursday at Lakeland Park with five fish weighing 11.88 pounds. Bill Hurst of Bartonville placed second (5, 11.74) and Ken Wolland of Bartonville third (5, 10.80). Jim Busche of Groveland won big bass (5.28).
Rusty Sweeney of East Peoria and Sean Webb of Pekin placed first in the Central Illinois Bass Club tournament April 22 at Sangchris Lake with three fish weighing 9.15 pounds. Brad Heitzman and Billy Canada of Manito placed second (3, 9.5) and Steve Graves and Jared Shay third (3, 9.0). Heitzman and Canada claimed big bass (4.12).
Trap shoot
Winners of the Peoria Skeet and Trap Club’s registered trap shoot last Sunday were: Doubles — Class A: Dave Dressler (95x100), Class B: Richard Drennen (92X100), Class C: Richard Garey (88x100), Class D: Clifford Glardon (83x100). Singles — Class A: Marvin Cremer (100x100), Class B: Clifford Glardon (98x100), Class C: William Seele (96x100), Class D: Garrett Zeeb (95x100), Lady: Kathy Turpin (98x100), Sub Junior: Christopher Mostaka (93x100), Vet: Larry Lark (97x100), Senior Vet: Richard Garey (97x100).
