Monarch tagging event planned for Saturday

BELOIT, Wis. — Welty Environmental Center will host Monarch Migrations! from 1 to 3 p.m. this Saturday at Beckman Mill County Park, 11698 S. County Road H, Beloit, Wis.
Larry and Emily Scheunemann will tag monarchs moving through the area so that their migration route can be studied. Karen Albrecht will give a presentation on the life cycle of monarchs and show monarch eggs, caterpillars and chrysalids. All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
