Bennett Spring State Park: 54 degrees, normal, clear; stream is at near normal conditions; successful lures and baits include: jigs (black/yellow, pink/white); mini-jigs (beadspread and John Deere); glo balls (any 3 color combo); also successful are bright colored Rooster Tails, hot pink brassies, yellow and white Power Baits and bright colored plastic worms. Maramec Spring Park: 58 degrees, clear; spring branch is at near normal conditions; fishing has been good; green and white colored lures working well. (Report made on 6/4/2009)

Montauk State Park: 59 degrees, rising, clear; fishing is good; the river has nice flow with a greenish color to the water; the river is slowly rising due to rains in the area, the river remains a few inches above normal; in the fly area scuds and mini marabou jigs suspended under a float are producing good numbers of fish; also heavier weighted marabou jigs fished in the swift water are doing well; check at the lodge for other good fly choices; in the bait area, corn, doughbaits and Power Baits in white, yellow, green, cheese and pink are producing good numbers of fish.
