Lindsay boat launch, lake roads closing for triathlons next weekend

The Lindsay Bridge boat launch will be closed to the public from 12:01 a.m. next Friday, July 27, though 4 p.m. Saturday, July 28, to to accommodate the Iron Abe and Stoneman Sprint triathlons.
On July 28, during the running and biking portions of the race, parts of East Lake Shore Drive, Pawnee Road, New City Road, and the 200 block of Long Bay Drive will be closed periodically. Long Bay Drive and West Lake Drive between Shepherd Road and Villa Grove Lane will be closed until about 4 p.m. Law enforcement authorities will be stationed at some of these areas to provide alternate routes to motorists.
