Golden eagle spotted near Springfield

An adult golden eagle was spotted today at 8:15 a.m. attempting to feed on road kill along Interstate 72 just west of the Riverton overpass and east of Springfield.
Rhetta Jack reported the sighting.
Unfortunately, the bird was almost hit by truck.

My daughter saw one near Chillicothe. She lives on the river and knows the differce fron a bald.
