FishinPals fishing derby Saturday at Virginia Junction Pond

FishinPals will host a Fishing Derby Saturday, June 30, at the Junction Pond in Virginia.

Hours are 9 - 11:30 a.m.

There will be prizes for largest fish for several age groups and some drawings for variuos prizes.

Bring a pole and bait and join in the fun.

FishinPals has an exemption from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for all of its events, so a fishing license is not required.

Hot dogs will be provided after fishing.

Bring a side item to share with the hot dogs.

Those under 12 need to have a adult sponsor with them.
