Fish fry planned for Sanganois
Prairie State Outdoors
The Friends of Sanganois will hold its 7th Annual Fish Fry April 2 at the Sanganois State Fish and Wildlife Area site office building.
Hours are 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Tickets are $10, and the cost includes all the fish, potato salad and beans you can eat.
Kids 16 and under are free.
Raffles are planned and caps and t-shirts will be for sale.
Site superintendent Doug Jallas will provide his annual report on repairs and improvements underway.
The Sanganois is a popular public waterfowl hunting area located near the confluence of the Illinois and Sangamon Rivers.
