Doe is a door-buster at boutique
ST. JOSEPH , Mich. (AP) - A doe made a door-busting visit to a women’s boutique in southwestern Michigan.
The Herald-Palladium reports the female deer crashed through the glass door of Eve on Friday morning. She tore through the merchandise, looked at herself in a three-way mirror and ran from the store.
St. Joseph police say the deer last was seen running down the street.
Owner Rachel Arent and the store manager had just opened the store when they heard a crash. Arent said she thought one of the store’s jewelry cases had collapsed, and “ran for the hills” when she saw the deer.
Police had gotten a call earlier Friday morning reporting a deer running through a city parking lot.
