Deer wanders into Delaware hospital

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A deer wandered into the cafeteria at Wilmington Hospital, startling employees on their lunch break.
Hospital officials say the animal entered Friday through the loading dock by Brandywine Park and wandered into the nearby cafeteria.
Bill Schmidt, a spokesman for Christiana Care Health System, says deer was captured by hospital security and ushered out of the hospital toward the park.
Bill Dugent with the state Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control said the breeding season for deer is coming up the animals are very active now.
