Chicago Sun-Times fishing report 2-11-09
February 11, 2009 at 11:06 AM
Ice is melting, rivers are opening and we are in a definite transition period for fishing according to Dale Bowman of the Chicago Sun-Times. Writes Bowman in his latest report:
“Ice is deteriorating. Shorelines, neckdowns and current areas are giving way. Some waters south of the city could be open by today, while north ones may hold fishable ice. If ice fishing, remember: stay together, and have creepers and rubber boots.”
