Chicago Sun-Times fish report 5-19-10

White bass on Wisconsin’s Wolf River are the highlight of Dale Bowman’s latest fishing report for the Chicago Sun-Times. Writes Bowman:

The white-bass run is back on track on the Wolf in central Wisconsin. On Monday, Bill Stoeger reported white bass back in the shallow. The Fremont guide expects the water to hit 60 this week. Of 165 caught on Monday, he said about 10 percent were ready to spawn. ``This is the time,’’ he said.
