Auburn brothers battle for top spot in Bassmaster College Series

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Auburn’s Matt Lee beat brother Jordan on Sunday in the Bassmaster College Series final at Beaverfork Lake to earn a spot in the 2013 Bassmaster Classic.
Matt Lee caught two bass that weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces. Jordan finished with two bass weighing 2-4.
“If we fished 20 times, he’d win 18,” Matt Lee said. “I hate it for him, but I’m happy for me. I know right now he’s hurting, and I’m hurting for him.”
The brothers finished second Friday in the team competition, losing to Oklahoma State’s Zack Birge and Blake Flurry.
