Archery deer hunters top 50,000

With a month-and-a-half to go, Illinois archery deer hunters have killed 53,759 deer.
Last year, archery hunters killed 63,597 during the entire 2010 season.
Pike County remains on top with 2,594 deer.
Other top counties so far include, Fulton (1,612), Adams (1,217), Jefferson (1,195) and Peoria (1,058).
