Addison man shoots himself in hunting accident

Addison, IL — Alfred S. Grigori, 43, Addison, was involved in an accident while deer hunting in the Lost Nation area of Lee County.
According to a release from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Grigori mishandled his handgun and shot himself in the upper body.
Grigori was able to drive himself to the KSB Hospital in Dixon, Ill. where he was treated for the non-life threatening injury.
The incident is still under investigation by the department of Natural Resources Conservation Police, with assistance from the Lee County Sheriff’s Department.
