Hanna City brothers Josh and Jacob Ruchotzke both face tremendous physical obstacles. Jacob, 11, has been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, while his older brother Josh, 14, lost his legs and most of his fingers to a severe infection. Yet both brothers were able to shoot their first deer duing the Illinois Youth Firearms Hunt. The hunt was arranged by the Heart of Illinois Whitetails chapter of Whitetails Unlimited.
The House also voted to restore some of the painful budget cuts Gov. Rod Blagojevich made this summer, which would stop the closure of dozens of state parks and historic sites and save 325 jobs.
