Nine-year-old Graham Bishop took this Menard County jake during the Youth Turkey Hunt on Sunday, April 4. The day before, he had 3 gobblers coming to his calls when a large coyote broke them up and then attacked one of his decoys.
Sunday morning, Graham watched 5 gobblers fly off their roost, then he called an unsuspecting Jake to about 25 yards. Making a perfect single head shot with a Remington Nitro Turkey Load delivered from his Mossberg 500 20 gauge.
