Luke Snowden, 10, of Havana, Ill., shot this 300-pound wild boar in the swamps north of Orlando, Fla. He used a lever-action Mossberg 30-30 at about 50 yards. This was his first out-of-state hunting trip. He was accompanied by Greg Mason; and Jim Mason joined them for the wild boar hunt. Luke, at his young age, has shot several deer with both shotgun and bow and arrow. Luke is looking forward to the upcoming spring youth turkey hunt.
