Chris' Camera Bag
A Photo Web log by Chris Young

When composing a picture, photographers have to decide what to include and what to leave out. If possible, one should photograph the scene in a variety of ways with different focal lengths of lenses. The worst feeling is to get home and discover that the picture would have been more effective shot from a different angle or with a different lens.
I wanted to shoot the ice climbers at Starved Rock State Park with a zoom lens so I could see their faces, and humanize them a bit. But with that said, I like the wider shot from the end of the canyon looking out. It’s my laptop desktop wallpaper for the moment.
Keep shooting. It’s always an option to delete the ones that don’t turn out.
