College of cardinals

So, what do you call a group of cardinals that gather around the bird feeder on a snowy day?
Flock doesn’t sound right. Cardinals don’t usually flock.
I’m going with a “college of cardinals.”
For those interested in taking pictures in the snow, remember the scene starts to deteriorate the minute the snow stops.
This episode of snow lasted only a short time.
Cardinals make great subjects in winter, and are a brightly colored break from gray surroundings.

Notice how snow collects on things, like the boards of this fence. Work those visual elements into your pictures.

Don’t forget to work the scene. Try different lenses, different angles and various compositions on the same theme.
