Mive Rave of Bloomington photographed this fawn outside the door of his hunting cabin near Chandlerville. He writes, “When I went outside Saturday morning this little one was curled up on my doorstep. Literally on my doorstep! I have heard during tough times of people leaving babies at the doorstep for others to care for, but never thought it happens in the animal kingdom. Especially a deer at the doorstep of a deer hunter! After a few minutes this little one hobbled into the timber.”
