I shot my first buck on Nov. 2nd this year with my new pse x force. I’ve been bow hunting since I was 16 (I am 26 now) and never really had a lot of luck, but this year I’ve been able to hunt a lot more.
This buck ran in front of my stand chasing a doe the evening before. The next morning he came right back in front of my stand about 830 am walking this time thankfully. I hadn’t
seen much that morning until he showed up. I saw him, and 10 seconds later I shot him at about 20 yards and watched him run about 40 yards and crash. I immediately erupted with excitement. I was so excited I had finally taken my first buck I almost fell out of my treestand and was just absolutely beside myself.
I hunted all weekend and Monday and had been seeing a lot of bucks, so I definitely had buck fever. On top of that, new scrapes and rubs were popping up all around the place every day. Action is hot and I think its getting hotter! He field dressed at 180lbs. And was a main frame 10-pointer with a G4 broken on the left side.
I thought I was addicted to hunting before this, I think know its grown into an obsession!
