Don’t limit yourself to leaves when you head out in pursuit of fall color. In the Midwest, prairies provide their own color displays, especially around sunset when prairie grasses pick up the warmest colors during the day’s final minutes. Little bluestem, big bluestem and Indian grass glow red and orange Thursday, Nov. 1 at Revis Hill Prairie in Mason County.
